Deadpool & Wolverine took the top spot with $54.17M for a new domestic total of $494.33M. It has taken in $535.2M in the foreign markets for a global total of $1.029B, making it the 11th film in the MCU to break $1B, and the 31st film for Disney overall.
Second place went to It Ends With Us with $50M in the U.S. It took in a further $30M in the foreign markets for a global total of $80M.
Twisters landed in third place with $15M for a new domestic total of $222.26M. It has taken in $87.8M in the foreign markets for a global total of $310.06M.
Fourth place went to Borderlands with $8.8M.
Despicable Me 4 rounded out the top five with $8M for a new domestic total of $330.13M. It has taken in $477.05M in the foreign markets for a global total of $807.18M.
The wide releases this week are Alien: Romulus, My Penguin Friend, Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure, and Skincare.
