The sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has picked up a new cast member in the form of Danny Devito.

In an exclusive report from Variety, the trade states that DeVito will be joining the returning cast of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, along with Jake Kasdan who will be returning as the director. The nature of DeVito’s role is unknown at this time. “The magic of ‘Jumanji’ is who becomes who. And the idea of Danny DeVito joining our cast was too irresistible and something we knew we wanted to deliver to our audience this upcoming Christmas. Dwanta Claus loves everyone,” Johnson said.

DeVito is the second new cast member to join the follow-up film this week. Earlier in the week it was announced that Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians) would also be joining the ensemble cast.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle ended up being a big hit for Sony bringing in $962M globally. The film had a pretty definitive ending for the magic portal that the kids entered the world through, so it’ll be interesting to see how they make it there this time.
