The full Cowboy Bebop trailer has arrived, and as adaptations go, it’s nice to see a lot of things remain the same.
Too often we see adaptations of various projects and someone has to change it in some way. In the case of Cowboy Bebop, it appears it is very much taking a, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” attitude to a lot of things. From the Bebop to floating signs in space, a lot of this series looks just as you remember the anime. Netflix has promised that there are new stories in the series, but they fit between the ones we already know.
We’re very much ready to check this series out when it launches.
COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.
Cowboy Bebop will debut on Netflix on Nov. 19.
