Deadpool & Wolverine took second place with $29M for a new domestic total of $545.81M. It has taken in $596.8M in the foreign markets for a global total of $1.142B. As of this week, it is the highest-earning R-rated film in history, overtaking the previous top dog, Joker.
Third place went to It Ends With Us with $24M for a new domestic total of $97.78M. It has taken in a further $82.2M in the foreign markets for a global total of $179.98M.
Twisters landed in fourth place with $9.8M for a new domestic total of $238.43M. It has taken in $87.99M in the foreign markets for a global total of $326.43M.
The 15th-anniversary release of Coraline took in $8.39M to land in fifth place.
The wide releases this week are Blink Twice, The Crow, and The Forge.
