Disney Plus will be the new home of the Macross franchise, but it will depend on where you live how much of it you see.

Disney Plus has struck a deal to be the new streaming home for one of the most famous anime properties of all time, the Macross saga.
Inside of Japan, Disney Plus will have all of the series, but outside of its home country, it will be lacking the first two projects: Super Dimension Fortress Macross and Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?. This is due to the rights of both of those being held by Harmony Gold since the 1980s under the guise of being part of the Robotech animated series.
The series that will be available in the U.S. include:
- The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012
- The Super Dimension Fortress Macross II: Lovers, Again (6 episodes)
- Macross Plus (4 episodes)
- Macross Plus Movie Edition
- Macross 7 (49 episodes, three OVA episodes)
- Macross 7 the Movie: The Galaxy’s Calling Me!
- Macross Dynamite 7 (4 episodes)
- Macross Zero (5 episodes)
- Macross Frontier (25 episodes)
- Macross Frontier: The False Songstress
- Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell
- Gekijō Tanpen Macross Frontier Toki no Meikyū
- Macross FB7: Ore no Uta o Kike!
- Macross Delta (26 episodes)
- Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walkūre
- Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!
Missing the first two projects is a disappointment from a historical perspective, but it is still a very large selection of great anime coming to the service.
No specific date has been announced as of yet other than it will be before the end of 2024.
