Godzilla vs. Kong was supposed to be in theaters by now, and then at another point it was supposed to be in Nov. While it’s easy to change a film’s release date, keeping toys from hitting shelves is more difficult.
Walmart has put up listings for three new Godzilla vs. Kong toys that show us a bit of the film at last.

While features on toys don’t always come from the film, the battle damage on Kong looks pretty darn specific.
It was established in Kong: Skull Island that Kong was a juvenile and would grow, but him equaling Godzilla still seems a bit much. We’ll have to see how that is explained once the film hits theaters.
Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled to hit theaters on May 21, 2021.
