Disney Plus WandaVision reportedly still on track for 2020

Mass confusion is running rampant when it comes to the upcoming Marvel series on Disney Plus, and no one quite seems to know when anything is going to air.

Thanks to different shooting schedules, and the amount of on-location shooting required, all of the series are in different stages of production. While Falcon and the Winter Soldier is scheduled to be the first series released this Aug., it was unable to finish filming due to the pandemic as it was mainly shot on location. The series has now been pushed back indefinitely.

Meanwhile, WandaVision was to be the second series to be released, but as it was mainly filmed on stages. It completed principal photography some time ago. But as it was planned to go second, does that mean it will push back is the big question.

It looks as though that may not be the case.

Despite some reports indicating it would shove back to 2021, Deadline is reporting that it remains on track for a late 2020 release. If correct, it looks like the small screen extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will still arrive this year, just not in the originally planned order.

Something tells us this won’t be the last we hear of this.
