The first trailer has arrived for Once Upon a Deadpool, and none of us can believe we’re excited to see a rerelease of a film we already own on home video.
Many times over the years a film has returned to theaters for a limited engagement. Some times they add a missing scene, or maybe it’s a restoration, but this has to be a first. Deadpool 2 came out this past summer, and it’s already heading back to theaters, but it has been re-edited to make it a PG-13 film as opposed to R.
Oh… and it adds Fred Savage being a prisoner of Deadpool and forced to relive The Princess Bride as a story framing device. Because… of course.
Once Upon a Deadpool hits theaters on Dec. 12 for a limited engagement.
