The Office Australia will debut on Prime Video on Oct. 18

A new version of The Office is on the way from Australia and will premiere on Prime Video on Oct. 18.

Amazon has shared new information on its upcoming The Office series. Set in Australia, the the series will follow Hannah Howard as the managing director of an office of the packaging company Flinley Craddick. She receives news from Head Office that they will be shutting down her branch, and everyone will transition to working from home. This causes her to go into survival mode, making promises she can’t keep to keep her “work family” together.

The staff of Flinley Craddick indulge her outlandish plots as they work toward the impossible targets that have been set for them.

The series will is set for eight episodes and stars Felicity Ward (Time Bandits) as Hannah Howard. She is joined by Edith Poor (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Steen Raskopoulos (The Duchess), Shari Sebbens (Thor: Love and Thunder), and Josh Thomson (How to Please a Woman, Young Rock).

Jonny Brugh (Thor: Love and Thunder, What We Do in the Shadows), Susan Ling Young (Reckoning), Raj Labade (Appetite), Lucy Schmidt (The Pledge), Zoe Terakes (Talk To Me), Pallavi Sharda (The Twelve), and Claude Jabbour (Last King of the Cross) will round out the regular cast.

Guest stars will include Susie Youssef (Deadloch), Justin Rosniiak (Mr Inbetween), Carlo Ritchie (Mikki vs the World), Rick Donald (Wentworth), and Chris Bunton (Relic).

The Australian version of The Office will premiere on October 18.
