Super Mario Bros. took a second top spot at the box office, and looks as though it may stay there for a bit.

The Super Marios Bros. Movie took in $87M at the box office in its second weekend, Bringing its domestic total to $347.82M. It has taken in $330.13M in the foreign markets for a global total of $677.95M.
Second place went to The Pope’s Exorcist with $9.15M in the U.S. and $27.4M overseas for a global total of $36.55M.
John Wick: Chapter 4 landed in third place with $7.92M for a new domestic total of $160.11M. Internationally it sits at $189.6M for a global total of $349.71M.
Fourth place went to Renfield with $7.77M. It took in a further $2,26M in the foreign markets for a global total of $10.03M.
AIR rounded out the top five with $7.72M for a domestic total of $33.28M. It has taken in $20.8M at the foreign box office for a global total of $54.08M
The wide releases this week are Chevalier, Evil Dead Rise, Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, and Beau is Afraid.
