Star Trek Discovery, Lower Decks, and Strange New Worlds renewed

Paramount Plus will continue boldly going where no man has gone before as it renews three of its Star Trek series.

Star Trek: Discovery has been renewed for a fifth season. The series is currently in the midst of its fourth season and will return with new episodes on Thursday, Feb. 10.

Star Trek: Lower Decks will premiere its third season in the summer of 2022, and has been renewed for a 10-episode fourth season.

Star Trek: Picard will debut its second season on Thursday, March 3. Production is already under way on season three.

The newest series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will debut season one on Thursday, May 5. Paramount Plus has already renewed the new series based on the early days of the U.S.S. Enterprise for a second season. The new series will star Anson Mount as Capt. Christopher Pike, Ethan Peck as Mr. Spock, and Rebecca Romijn as Number One.

Star Trek: Prodigy has not yet been renewed as of yet, but it will debut the second half of its first season later in 2022.

Paramount has said on multiple occasions that it wants to get to a point where there is fresh Star Trek content on a weekly basis throughout the year. With the way things are going, it certainly looks as though the service is close to achieving its goal.
