First place went to Scream with $30.6M domestically. The question will be what sort of “legs” it has as horror films are notoriously weak in their second weekends.

Spider-Man: No Way Home came in second with $20.8M for a new domestic total of $698.72M to make it the fifth highest grossing film in the U.S. of all time. Internationally it has taken in $926.3M for a global total of $1.625B.

Third place went to Sing 2 with $8.27M for a new domestic total of $119.35M and a global haul of $214.68M.

The 355 came in fourth with $2.34M for a new domestic total of $8.41M.

Fifth place went to The King’s Man with $2.31M for a new domestic total of $28.68M. The global total now sits at $92.48M.

The King’s Daughter and Redeeming Love are the only major releases scheduled for this week.
