LEGO has announced its new Super Mario sets, and there is a lot of fun interactivity coming with them.

After four years of development, LEGO and Nintendo have announced the new Super Mario series that begins with a starter set and will expand out from there. And there is a lot of new features that revolve around your Mario figure. He will be able to tell when he’s moving, when he’s standing on bricks like fire, or if he’s flying through the air. You’re going to be able to play through Mario games like they are in the real world.

Once you get past the start set you’ll be able to go on even more adventures with expansion sets. Late on you’ll be able to pick up the Piranha Plant Power Slide and Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle.

You can preorder the Starter Set now for $59.99 and it will be released on Aug. 1.
