When the last John Wick film came to a close, the world of assassins was in a bit of disarray. Now, a new series will show us how the High Table plans on handling that situation.

Chad Stahelski, the director of the film series, is behind the new series and will serve as executive producer as well as directing the first episode. Keanu Reeves is attached as an executive producer and is said to be very involved, but no acting commitments have been announced. Robert Levine (co-creator of The Old Man) is set to write the project.

The series will focus on a new set of characters looking to make a name for themselves in the vacuum left by the end of the last film. Established characters are also expected to make appearances, but there is no word on which ones as of yet.

The first John Wick TV project, The Continental: From the World of John Wick was a ratings success for Peacock, but it is not yet clear where the new series will debut. According to Deadline, the series is currently being shopped around, and a bidding war is emerging for the property.

There are currently multiple John Wick projects in development including a fifth entry in the series and a spinoff film for Donnie Yen’s character. The next project to be released will be Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas and is set between the third and fourth films.
