The cast of Deadpool 3 appears to be growing, and not in a way we would have expected.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in the upcoming Deadpool 3. The actor portrayed the assassin in both in 2003’s Daredevil and 2005’s Elektra. She met her former husband, Ben Affleck, in the former film, and it has been rumored he may also appear in the film.
Deadpool 3 is shaping up to be the entrance of Ryan Reynolds’ character into the MCU, and he’s bringing Hugh Jackman’s Logan along for the ride as well. Rumors of other cameos have been growing, but this is one of the biggest reports as of yet due to the source.
The 51-year-old actress previously worked with Reynolds on The Adam Project which was also directed by Deadpool 3‘s Sharn Levy.
Other returning actors include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Rob Delaney as Peter. Emma Corrin has joined the cast in an unknown villain role.
Deadpool 3 is currently wrapping up filming in the U.K. ahead of its debut on May 3, 2024.
