Indiana Jones whips up a win at the box office

Indiana Jones managed to dig up a win at the box office with his fifth and final movie.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny landed in first place this week with $60M at the box office. It took in $70M at the foreign box offices for an opening weekend of $130M.

Second place went to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with $11.5M for a new domestic total of $339.87M. It has taken in $267.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $607.27M.

Elemental landed in third place with $11.3M for a new domestic total of $88.77M. It has taken in $98M in foreign sales for a new global total of $186.77M.

Fourth place this week went to No Hard Feelings with $7.5M for a new total of $29.31N. It has taken in a further $20M in the foreign markets for a global total of $49.31M.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts landed in fifth with $7M, the domestic total now stands at $136.11M. It has taken in $242.95M from the foreign markets for a global total of $379.06M.

This week’s wide releases are Insidious: The Red Door and Joy Ride.
