The Halo TV series is finally on the way after over a decade in development.

It seems like it has taken forever, but at long last Master Chief is on the way to save the universe in his own TV series. It only took numerous false starts, multiple directors, and a seemingly endless stream of outlets.
This version of the project was set up at Showtime for a while, but it is now moving to Paramount Plus. For Viacom, this makes a lot of sense as the streaming service needs another anchor outside of the multiple Star Trek franchises.
Where will Halo go as a TV series is anyone’s guess. There are years and years of lore from the games to pull from, so there won’t be any shortage of stories for it to tell.
The Halo TV series is due to debut on Paramount Plus in 2022.
