Disney Plus shares info on multiple upcoming Marvel shows

Marvel Studios had a lot of updates and announcements during Disney Plus Day, and it looks as though we’re in for a busy run.

Wrapping up Disney Plus Day, the streaming service shared logos for all of its upcoming series. A video was then released on Disney Plus itself showing the first footage from Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and some unseen footage from Ms. Marvel.

It should be noted that despite rumors earlier this week, Ms. Marvel has not been pushed to late 2022, but instead will be released in the Summer of 2022.

  • Agatha: House of Harkness – Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision. Jac Schaefer will return as executive producer and head writer.
  • Echo – Alaqua Cox will star as Maya Lopez, and she will be introduced in the Hawkeye series.
  • I Am Groot – This will be a series of animated shorts following the younger version of Groot.
  • Ironheart – Dominique Thorne stars as Riri Williams, a genius who creates her own Iron Man-like armor. She will first be seen in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
  • Marvel Zombies – A popular story from the comics that we saw a small taste of in season 1 of What If…?.
  • Secret Invasion – Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury along with Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos. The original story in the comics followed a group of Skrulls that had been hiding on Earth for years.
  • Spider-Man: Freshman Year – An animated series set in the MCU that will follow Peter Parker after he was first bitten by the spider.
  • X-MEN ’97 – A continuation of the fan-favorite 1990s series.

That’s a whole lot of new Marvel content on the way, and we suspect that the frequency of releases will be increasing. We definitely are not against that idea.

If you are a subscriber to Disney Plus, you can check out the video now on the service.
