CBS has announced a massive number of series renewals while sending a few out to pasture. Check out all of the hour-long dramas that survived.
With no network upfronts this year, the announcements of renewals are coming in slowly, but it seems CBS decided to do a tremendous number of them in one shot.
All of the following series have now been renewed.
- 48 Hours
- 60 Minutes
- All Rise
- Blue Bloods
- Bob Hears Abishola
- Bull
- F.B.I.: Most Wanted
- MacGyver
- Magnum P.I.
- NCIS
- NCIS: Los Angeles
- NCIS: New Orleans
- The Neighborhood
- S.E.A.L. Team
- S.W.A.T.
- Undercover Boss
- The Unicorn
These renewals join the already extended Mom, Young Sheldon, Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Evil.
“Thanks to these exceptional shows, we’re going to win the current season by 1 million viewers,” CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl said in a statement. “Next year, we’ll have these strong returning series as our foundation … and Super Bowl LV, too. It’s a well-balanced lineup across entertainment, news and sports that will put us in an incredibly stable position for 2020-2021.”
Not everything was rosy, however, as CBS also canceled a few series. Matt LeBlanc’s Man With a Plan, Broke, Carol’s Second Act, and Tommy, all have been canceled.
