To celebrate the fact tickets have gone on sale for Captain Marvel, a new trailer has arrived with a lot of new footage.
The new trailer plays up a bit more of Carol’s (Brie Larson) relationship with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Clearly, it is a friendly, but antagonistic one, as most friendships are.
We also get our first good look at a Skrull shapeshifting, and it doesn’t look like it’s a wholly pleasurable experience for the race.
The film has a lot of set up to do as Marvel will play a major role in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. For a character we haven’t met in the MCU yet, that’s a pretty tall order.
Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8.
