Adolescence season 2 is in talks at Netflix, with plans being made for how the series could continue.

According to a report from Deadline, the Plan B production company and Netflix are in the early stages of discussing Adolescence season 2. Plan B co-presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner have revealed they are speaking with director Philip Barantini about the “next iteration” of the show.
The current series follows one storyline over four episodes of 13-year-old Jamie (Owen Cooper) after he murders a female classmate for rejecting him. His father was played by Stephen Graham, co-creator and co-writer of the series. Brad Pitt served as Executive Producer.
The series will likely pivot to a different story, but Plan B is aware that it will need to avoid repeating the storyline.
One of the main selling points of the series was that each episode was a single continuous take. That particular aspect of the series will more than likely remain intact.
Adolescence is currently streaming on Netflix in its entirety.
