Surprising absolutely no one, James Cameron took the top spot at the box office for a third weekend.

First place went to Avatar: The Way of Water with $63.44M for a new domestic total of $421.56M. The international total now stands at $956.9M for a global total of $1.378B.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish opened in second place with $16.25M, bringing its domestic total to $60.65M. The foreign total sits at $68.84M for a global total of $129.49M.

Third place went to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with $4.83M for a new domestic total of $437.97M. At the foreign markets it sits at $380.5M for a new global total of $818.47M.

Whitney Houston I Wanna Dance With Somebody came in forurth with $4.25M for a new domestic total of $14.87M. The foreign total sits at $13.1M for a new global total of $27.97M.

Babylon landed in fifth place with $2.73M for a new domestic total of $10.13M.

Fifth place went to Violent Night with $3.14M for a new domestic total of $41.6M, and globally it sits at $62.33M.

The only wide release this week is M3GAN.
