It’s good to know that no matter what the threat, the Avengers have each other’s backs.
On Monday, Captain America – or more precisely, actor Chris Evans – took to Twitter to express his displeasure with smart devices. “Dear All Technology,” he began. “Remember the 90’s when you just WORKED??? I don’t need a ‘smart’ feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You’re a major pain in all of our asses. You’re not worth it.” He concluded with, “Signed, Everyone.”
Dear All Technology,
Remember the 90’s when you just WORKED??? I don’t need a ‘smart’ feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You’re a major pain in all of our asses. You’re not worth it.
Signed,
Everyone— Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) January 7, 2019
Seeing his distress, Iron Man – or Robert Downey Jr. – rushed in to help. “Hey @MarkRuffalo,” he began, “looks like Cap needs a little tutoring from the science bros.”

On Tuesday, Banner, AKA Mark Ruffalo, replied, “Call or DM us whenever you need assistance, @ChrisEvans. Also, language.”

While fun and amusing, I would remind Cap these are the men who were behind the creation of Ultron. Do you really want to ask their assistance when it comes to taming technology? No, I don’t think so.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
