Fans of the 1992 X-Men animated series rejoice! The first X-Men ’97 trailer has arrived!

Disney announced during Disney Plus Day in 2021 that a revival of the beloved animated X-Men series was set to return in 2023. Entitled X-Men ’97, the series will pick up where the original left off with original cast and crew returning for the event.
Now, after some delays, the series is set to return in March 2024, and the first trailer has arrived.
The original series ran from 1992 to 1997 and a total of 76 episodes. It is unknown as of yet how much new material is planned for this project and if it will just be a limited event, or an ongoing series.
The original series has been a big draw for the Disney Plus service, so it’s not too surprising that this series is in the works. Add in that it’s a good way to get the public ready for the X-Men to enter the live-action films, and this is a win all-around for fans of X-Men.
