Argylle takes the top spot at the box office

The box office came in at under $60M for the second weekend in a row, something it did only twice in all of 2023.

The top spot this weekend went to Argylle with $18M, coming in well under estimates. It took in a further $17.34M overseas for a global total of $35.34M.

The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 1-3 came in second with $7.46M.

Third place went to The Beekeeper with $5.28M for a new domestic total of $49.42M. It has taken in $60M in the foreign markets for a global total of $109.42M.

Wonka came in fourth with $4.76M for a new domestic total of $201.12M. It has taken in $370M in the foreign markets for a global total of $571.72M.

Fifth place went to Migration with $4.11M for a new domestic total of $106.17M. It has taken in a further $115.71M in the foreign markets for a global total of $221.89M.

The wide releases this week are Lisa Frakenstein and Disney’s re-release of Turning Red.
