Argylle takes the top spot at the box office in a quiet weekend

The box office came in at under $60M for the third weekend in a row, something it did only twice in all of 2023.

The top spot this weekend went to Argylle with $6.5M, coming in 63% under its muted opening weekend. Its domestic total now stands at $28.81M, and it has taken in $31.33M overseas for a global total of $60.14M.

Lisa Frankenstein opened in second place with $3.8M.

Third place went to The Beekeeper with $3.46M for a new domestic total of $54.73M. It has taken in $60M in the foreign markets for a global total of $114.73M.

The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 1-3 came in fourth with $3.15M for a new domestic total of $12.58M.

Fifth place went to Wonka with $3.12M for a new domestic total of $205.25M. It has taken in $382.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $587.55M.

The wide releases this week are The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 4 – 6, Bob Marley: One Love, and Madame Web.
