Minecraft wins a second weekend at the box office

It seems everyone is digging exploring the overworld.

A Minecraft Movie took in $80.6M for a new domestic total of $280.96M. It has taken in $269.6M in the foreign markets for a global total of $550.56M.

Second place went to The King of Kings with $19.05M.

The Amateur landed in third place with $15M. It took in a further $17.2M in the foreign markets for a global total of $32.2M.

Fourth place went to Warfare with $8.3M.

Drop landed in fifth place with $7.5M. It took in $2.51M overseas for a global total of $10.01M.

The wide releases this week are COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing, Sinners, Sneaks, and The Wedding Banquet.
