Jurassic World: Dominion takes the top spot at the box office

The Jurassic Era is coming to an end with a strong opening weekend.

Jurassic World: Dominion took the top spot at the box office this weekend with $143.37M. The foreign markets took in $245.75M for a global opening of $389.12M.

Second place went to Top Gun: Maverick with $50M for a new domestic total of $393.34M, and a global total of $747.04M.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took third place with $4.88M for a new domestic total of $397.8M. The global total now stands at $930.2M.

Fourth place went to The Bob’s Burgers Movie with $2.33M for a new domestic total of $27.08M, and a global total of $28.82M.

The Bad Guys landed in fifth place with $2.25M for a new domestic total of $91.52M. Globally it sits at $225.99M.

This week’s major release is Lightyear.
