Creed III knocks out a win at the box office

It seems there is still quite a bit of life in the Rocky/Creed series.

Creed III took in $58.65M this weekend, well above the projections of $40M. It took in a further $41.8M at the foreign box office for a global total of $100.45M.

Second place this week went to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with $12.47M to bring its domestic total to $186.79M. Internationally it stands at $232.7M for a global total of $419.49M.

Cocaine Bear landed in third place with $11.02M for a new domestic total of $41.28M. It has taken in $10.72M in the foreign markets for a global total of $52.01M.

Fourth place went to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village with $10.11M. It has taken in $12.3M in foreign markets for a global total of $22.41M.

Jesus Revolution rounded out the top five with $8.65M, for a new total of $30.54M.

The wide releases this week are 65, Champions, and Scream VI.
