Bridget Jones is back for a fourth film, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, which will be released in 2025.

Universal Pictures and Working Title have announced that everything is set for a fourth entry in the Bridget Jones film series. Based on the book of the same name, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will see the return of Renée Zellweger in the title role. She will be joined be returning cast members Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson. They will also be joined by new cast members Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall.
The book was published in 2013, and the script is by author Helen Fielding. This time around, Jones will find her life invaded by social media and texts, and not just her diary.
Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Jo Wallett are producing for Working Title Films. Amelia Granger and Sarah-Jane Wright will serve as executive producers alongside Fielding.
Over the course of the first three films the series has taken in $760M globally.
The film will release on Peacock in the U.S. on Feb. 14, 2025. Internationally it will be heading to theaters.
