Michael Returns to the Top of the Box Office

It seems that no one was ready to say goodbye to the King of Pop quite yet.

First place went to Michael with $26.12M for a new domestic total of $282.79M. It has taken in $421.05M for a new global total of $703.85M.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 took $18M at the domestic box office to land in second place. That brings its domestic total of $175.86M. It has raised an additional $370.3M from foreign markets, bringing the global total to $546.16M.

Third place went to Obsession with $16.1M. It took in $7M in the foreign markets for a global total of $23.1M.

Mortal Kombat II landed in fourth place with $13.4M for a new domestic total of $62.23M. It has taken in $39M in the foreign markets for a global total of $101.23M.

Fifth place went to The Sheep Detectives with $9.31M for a domestic total of $29.66M. It has taken in $29M in the foreign markets for a global total of $58.66M.

The wide releases this week are Corporate Retreat, I Love Boosters, The Mandalorian & Grogu, and Passenger.
