NBCUniversal and Roku have reached an agreement that will see more content coming to The Roku Channel.

Roku announced on Tuesday that it has struck a deal with NBCUniversal that will broaden their relationship and see the launch of more channels. Beginning immediately, you will find new dedicated channels for Murder, She Wrote, Little House on the Prairie, Saved By The Bell, TNBC (Teen NBC) which will include episodes from Punky Brewster, Major Dad, and Hang Time, and the Universal Crime channel that will feature shows such as Columbo, Kojack, and The Rockford Files.
Arriving later this year will be Universal Action with episodes of The A-Team, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) is exploding at the moment as the new way to monetize older catalog content. It has become a multi-billion dollar expansion for the TV industry in just a few short years, and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
