More of the gang is getting back together for Daredevil: Born Again as Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role as Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher.

As Disney Plus is reviving the Daredevil franchise, there have been a lot of questions about which character may come back. While it was long ago announced that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio would reprise Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively, the chance for other Netflix characters to return has been up in the air.
On Tuesday it was revealed that Bernthal would once again be donning the skull to become the Punisher.
Also revealed, however, was that Deborah Ann Woll will not return as Karen Page, and Elden Henson will not reprise the role of Foggy Nelson. No reason for their exclusion has been announced as of yet.
There have been rumors for some time now that Krysten Ritter will once again play the role of Jessica Jones, but nothing official has been announced as of yet.
Although all of these characters got their start on Netflix, and were tangentially connected to the MCU, things have changed as of late. As the rights to those series reverted to Disney, there were theories they would all be recast. Once Cox appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Matt Murdock, and D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye, anything seemed possible.
Only time will tell how much we actually see of them, and if we will see deeper integration into the wider MCU.
