Fans of the 1992 X-Men animated series, rejoice! X-Men ’97 is coming in 2023!

Disney announced during Disney Plus Day that a revival of the beloved animated X-Men series is returning in 2023. Entitled X-Men ’97, the series will pick up where the original left off with original cast and crew returning for the event.
The original series ran from 1992 to 1997 and a total of 76 episodes. It is unknown as of yet how much new material is planned for this project and if it will just be a limited event, or an ongoing series.
The original series has been a big draw for the Disney Plus service, so it’s not too surprising that this series is in the works. Add in that it’s a good way to get the public ready for the X-Men to enter the live-action films, and this is a win all-around for fans of X-Men.
2023 can’t get here soon enough and we’re ready for the arrival of X-Men ’97!
