Netflix has released the first That 90s Show trailer along with the first full look at the new cast of kids.
We’ve been awaiting our first full look at That 90s Show, and it has finally arrived, along with a release date. This next January 19, we’ll be heading back to Point Place, Wisconsin.
Kurtwood Smith will reprise his role as Red Foreman, and Debra Jo Rupp will return as Kitty Foreman. Both actors will also serve as Executive Producers on the series. Eric (Topher Grace), Donna (Laura Prepon), Jackie (Mila Kunis), Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) are all scheduled to appear. Leo (Tommy Chong) has also been announced to be appearing in the series.
Leia, (Callie Haverda), the daughter of Eric and Donna Foreman, will be the focus of the series. Leia’s new best friend, Gwen, lives next door and will be played by Ashley Aufderheide (Emergence). Gwen is described as a Riot Grrrl and the unofficial leader of the new Point Place teens.
Mace Coronel (Colin in Black & White) will be playing the charming and flirty – at least he thinks so – Jay. Maxwell Acee Donovan (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables) will be Gwen’s older, more laid-back, brother. Reyn Doi (Side Hustle) is the insightful, gay friend who is growing impatient that the world isn’t as accepting of him as his friends. And rounding out the teens will be Sam Morelos as Nikki, Nate’s driven girlfriend with a rebellious streak.
Welcome back to your favorite basement. Same Formans, new friends.
It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer, where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.
That 90s Show will debut on Netflix on Jan. 19, 2023.
