For Stranger Things Day – the day that Will Byers first entered the Upside Down – Netflix has shared new information about the fifth and final season.

First up, the Stranger Things 5 episode titles:

  • “The Crawl”
  • “The Vanishing of _____”
  • “The Turnbow Trap”
  • “Sorcerer”
  • “Shock Jock”
  • “Escape From Camazotz”
  • “The Bridge”
  • “The Rightside Up”

There is also a mystery still, as you can see in the video that was released, that episode two’s title does say a name, but they aren’t sharing it as of yet.

The second big piece of information was that the episodes will debut in 2025. There had been some speculation it would be 2026 due to filming continuing through the end of this year, but now we know that isn’t the case.

Production on the new episodes began on Jan. 8 of this year following a delay due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes of 2023. Production is expected to take close to a year to fully film all eight episodes.

Stranger Things 4 was broken into two parts, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Netflix do the same with Stranger Things 5, if not an even further breaking apart of the episodes due to their lengths.

While this will be the series’ final season, there are already rumors of possible spinoffs, and we’ll just have to wait to see if any of those come to fruition.

Stranger Things 5 will debut sometime in 2025.
