Snow White takes the top spot at the box office

Once again, Summer can’t get here quick enough for the box office.

First place this week went to Snow White, with $45M coming in under estimates. It took in a further $44.3M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $87.3M.

Black Bag landed in second place with $4.4M for a new domestic total of $14.88M. It took in $9.21M in other markets for a global total of $24.09M.

Third place went to Captain America: Brave New World with $4.1M for a new domestic total of $192.11M. It has taken in a further $208.7M overseas for a global total of $400.81M.

Mickey 17 landed in fourth place with $3.9M for a new domestic total of $40.22M. It has taken in $69.8M in the rest of the world for a global total of $110.02M.

Fifth place went to Novocaine with $3.76M for a new domestic total of $15.76. It took in $5.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $21.06M.

The wide releases this week are Death of a Unicorn, Sikandar, The Woman in the Yard, and A Working Man.
