It seems that Nico (Lyrica Okano) is going to go through some major changes in Runaways season 2. Like, a connection to the Dark Dimension from Doctor Strange?
Hulu released a second Runaways trailer for the upcoming season 2 on Thursday. While there’s a lot of new footage – and clear confirmation they have found the Hostel from the comics – Nico’s scary purple eyes like those of Dormammu’s followers in Doctor Strange is a definite shocker.
Major kudos because it also appears some of the special effects received upgrades in season 2. Old Lace looks as though she’s on set this year as opposed to being an afterthought.
It looks as though there will be a lot going on this year. And with all 13 of the episodes dropping at the same time this season, it will make it a lot easier to get through and see all of the challenges facing the Runaways this season.
Runaways season 2 will debut on Hulu on Dec. 21.
