Paramount is prepping another Transformers film with a 2022 target release date.
As it stands right now, there are three Transformers film projects in the work as Paramount continues its relationship with Hasbro. We were already aware of one James Vanderbilt that will reportedly focus on Beast Wars, and an animated film from Joby Haroldthat will be an origin film for the Cybertron war.
This third project is currently set for a release date of June 24, 2022 and will reportedly be a followup to Bumblebee.
As the last film was set in the 1980s, the Autobot scout still has some time for some solo adventures before Sam Witwicky purchases him in that used car lot in the first Michael Bay film. Will we see him in the 1990s this time around? We’ll just ahve to wait and see.
