Second place went to Mufasa: The Lion King with $11.53M for a new domestic total of $205.82M. It has taken in $382.2M overseas for a global total of $588.02M.
Wolf Man landed in third place with $10.55M, coming in well below estimates. It has taken in $4.83M in the foreign markets for a global total of $15.38M.
Fourth place went to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with $8.6M for a new domestic total of $216.49M. It has brought in $203.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $419.99M.
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera slid to fifth place with $6.6M for a domestic total of $26.17M. It has taken in $5.02 internationally for a global total of $31.2M.
The wide releases this week are Brave the Dark, The Colors Within, Flight Risk, and Prsence.
