Apple TV Plus has ordered a companion series for Mythic Quest entitled Mere Mortals.

The popular Mythic Quest is receiving an eight-episode companion series entitled Mere Mortals that will feature a mix of existing and new characters. Main series star Ashly Burch is one of the creators and will feature in the new series. The series is said to be similar in tone to the episodes “Sarian,” “Everlight,” “A Dark Quiet Death,” “Backstory!,” and “Mythic Quest: Quarantine.”
The new project will be written by Burch, John Howell Harris, and Katie McElhenney. Megan Ganz, Rob McElhenney, and Charlie Day executive produce with EP and star David Hornsby, Nick Frenkel, Michael Rotenberg, Jason Altman, and Margaret Boykin
Mythic Quest is currently airing its third season, and has already been renewed for a fourth. No word as of yet as to when Mere Mortals will debut.
