It seems even superhero pets can win at the box office.
DC League of Super-Pets took the top spot at the box office this weekend with $23M, coming in under estimates. It ook in $18.4M at the foreign theaters for a global total of $41.4M.
Second place went to Jordan Peele’s Nope with $18.55M, a drop of 58%. The domestic total sits at $80.58M.

Thor: Ragnarok ended at $853M with $135M of that coming from China and Russia, both countries the current film won’t be playing in. Top Gun: Maverick rounded out the top five with $8.2M for a new domestic total of $650.1M. The global total sits at $1.321B.
