School is back in session as Gen V has been renewed for season 2 at Amazon’s Prime Video.

Just three weeks into its first season, Prime Video has already given the green light to Gen V season 2. Showrunner Michele Fazekas is already working with a writers’ room on the second season.
“Sophomore year is gonna be wild, with all the twists, heart, satire, and exploding genitalia you’ve come to expect from the show,” a joint statement said. “We couldn’t be happier to make a second season of Gen V,” Fazekas said of the news. “These are characters and stories we’ve grown to love, and we are thrilled to know people feel the same!”
We really enjoyed what we saw of Gen V prior to the season 1 debut, and we’re curious to see where this new generation of super-powered individuals. With two series now existing in the same The Boys universe, and some minor crossovers already having taken place, perhaps we’ll see some larger integration in the future.
Season 1 is still currently debuting on Prime Video with the season finale scheduled for Nov. 3.
