Marvel took to social media on Wednesday to announce the massive Avengers: Doomsday cast of over 20 returning characters.

Marvel launched a live video on Wednesday that announced the cast of Avengers: Doomsday with another cast member announced every 15 minutes. While a lot of the announced characters weren’t a surprise, there was a period of several curveballs.
The cast includes:

- Vanessa Kirby – Sue Storm/Invisible Woman
- Paul Rudd – Scott Lang/Ant-Man
- Florence Pugh – Yelena Belova
- Wyatt Russell – John Walker/U.S. Agent
- Tenoch Huerta Mejia – Namor
- Simu Liu – Shang-Chi
- Sebastian Stan – Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier
- Letitia Wright – Shuri/Black Panther
- Ebon Moss-Bachrac – Ben Grimm/The Thing
- Kelsey Grammer – Hank McCoy/Geast
- Lewis Pullman – Sentry

The heavy inclusion of the Fox-era X-Men had not been rumored. This looks as though this will be the bridge that finally bring the X-Men fully into the MCU.
As to how much any certain characters will be seen remains to be seen. With Avengers; Secret Wars due the following year, some of this may be setting us up for that event as well.
Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
