The second Avatar: The Way of Water trailer has arrived online, giving us a new taste of the return to Pandora.
It looks like not everything will be peaceful this time, but we’re not surprised by that.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
This is the first of four planned sequels, with releases planned every other year, and all of them in December. No word yet on what the future film plots will focus on.
Avatar: The Way of Water will hit theaters on Dec. 16.
