Disclosure Day Took the Top Spot at the Box Office

Steven Spielberg is proving he can still fill seats at the box office.

Disclosure Day took the top spot this weekend with $44M. It took in a further $48.8M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $92.87M.

Second place went to Obsession with $19M for a new domestic total of $188.38M. It has taken in $98.11M in the foreign markets for a global total of $286.49M.

Scary Movie landed in third place with $14.5M for a new domestic total of $84.59M. It has taken in an additional $88.6M, for a global total of $173.19M.

Fourth place went to Backrooms with $11.26M bringing its domestic total to $160.03M. It has taken in $102.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $262.33M off of a $10M budget.

Masters of the Universe landed in fifth place with $29.3M for a new domestic total of $46.73M. It has taken in $39.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $86.13M off of a $200M budget. It looks as though we may have our first bomb of the summer.

The wide releases this week are The Death of Robin Hood, Leviticus, and Toy Story 5.
