The first Madame Web trailer has arrived, and it looks as though we’re about to meet multiple versions of female Spider heroes.

We had already heard a lot about this film, and there was a lot of speculation about if we would be seeing other versions of the various female Spider heroes. It looks as though we will at least see flashes of what their futures hold for them.
The cast includes Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb / Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter / Spider-Woman, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin / Spider-Woman, and Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon / Araña. And on the villain side, we’ll see Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims.
“Meanwhile, in another universe…” In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures…if they can all survive a deadly present.
With the trailer now out in the world, it looks as though this film could be used to bring a lot of different projects together, but we’ll just have to wait and see what Sony has planned for the future.
Madame Web will hit theaters on Feb. 16, 2024.
