It would appear that Michael B. Jordan has a lot of plans when it comes to the future of Creed, and that includes a ‘Creed-verse.’

Following on from the successful opening weekend of Creed III, Deadline is reporting that plans for Creed-adjacent projects are heating up at Amazon. Apparently talks of where the franchise will go next have been going on for more than a year, but things have opened up even more now that the film has opened to amazing numbers.
Reportedly things are still a bit sketchy as it’s still so early in talks, but there are discussions for an anime series as well as a live-action TV series. The anime series is unsurprising as Jordan is very upfront about all the anime influences in the third film, so seeing a series based on his work would certainly be high on his priority list.
There is also talk of a project that would focus on Adonis’ daughter, Amara, who was played by first-time actor Mila Davis-Kent.
A Drago film is still in development and would focus on Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), and his son Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu).
Speaking with Deadline recently, Jordan said, “building the Creed universe is something that I’m really excited about.” Considering the film made more than $100M globally in its opening weekend, it seems as though he is well on his way to achieving that goal.
