Terrifier 3 wins the weekend at the box office

Joker: Folie à Deux dropped 81% in its second weekend, giving the top spot to Terrifier 3 as horror seasons goes into full swing.

First place went to Terrifier 3 with $18.3M. Off of a reported budget of $2M, it’s none too surprising that work on a fourth film is already supposedly underway.

The Wild Robot took second place with $13.45M for a new domestic total of $83.73M. It has taken in $64.71M in the foreign markets for a global total of $148.45M.

Third place went to Joker: Folie à Deux with $7.05M at the domestic box office, bringing its domestic total to $51.61M. It has taken in $113.7M in the foreign markets for a global total of $165.31M.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice landed in fourth place with $7.05M for a new domestic total of $275.61M. It has taken in a further $144.7M in the foreign markets for a global total of $420.31M.

Fifth place went to Piece by Piece with $3.8M.

The wide releases this week are Goodrich and Smile 2.
