Hoppers Takes the Top Spot at the Box Office

Pixar took the top spot at the box office with what feels like the start of a new franchise.

First place went to Hoppers with $46M. It took in a further $42M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $88M.

Scream 7 took second place with $17.3M for a new domestic total of $93.37M. Foreign markets have hit $56.1M for a global total of $149.5M.

Third place went to The Bride with $7.2M in the U.S. It took in a further $6.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $13.5M. Off of an $80M budget, things are not looking good.

GOAT landed in fourth place with $6.6M for a new domestic total of $83.8M. It has taken in $62.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $146.3M.

Wuthering Heights came in fifth with $3.7M for a new domestic total of $78.8M. It has taken in a further $134.9M in the foreign markets for a global total of $213.7M.

The wide releases this week are Undertone and Reminders of Him.
